The Rainer Jacket is a sculptural composition of layered leather panels and intricate hand-built detailing each element shaped and placed with intention to create a fluid, textural surface across the body. At first glance, the garment reads as a continuous, organic texture, but beneath it lies a highly intensive process of construction.
At the core of this piece is a meticulous hand-stitching technique. Individual panels of leather are carefully cut, then perforated by hand before being stitched one by one to form a dripping, flowing surface. This process is repeated across the garment, building a dimensional texture that feels both raw and controlled.
There is something instinctive in its presence. The piece carries a grounded, almost elemental energy where material is transformed through repetition, patience, and precision.
The same technique extends around the hood, where the edges are fully hand-worked, creating a continuous frame of detailed stitching that encircles the form. Much of this labor remains subtle visible as texture, but rooted in intensive handcraft.
It does not simply sit on the body it reveals itself over time.
Each piece is developed through a meticulous, hands-on process within our private atelier. No two are ever identical. The variations in texture, tone, and stitching are part of the life of the garment, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care. Within our atelier, creation is approached with presence and devotion each garment made as a quiet ritual, where craft becomes a form of prayer.
