A sculptural expression of movement, erosion, and handcrafted transformation.

The Cotopaxi Shawl is inspired by volcanic landscapes, shifting terrain, and the layered movement of natural formations shaped through time and pressure. The silhouette carries a fluid architectural presence where texture becomes the language of the garment itself.

Every wave and dimensional contour within the piece is created entirely by hand. Each individual leather panel is carefully cut, shaped, aged, and stitched one by one within our private atelier. The surface is not created through printed texture or fabric manipulation alone it is constructed through hundreds of deliberate hand-formed layers that build depth, rhythm, and sculptural movement across the garment.

The result feels organic, almost geological. As light moves across the surface, the layered leather formations reveal shadow, dimension, and evolving movement throughout the composition.

There is something instinctive in its presence powerful, raw, and refined simultaneously. The body becomes framed through sculptural texture and architectural flow while maintaining fluidity and softness within the silhouette.

Minimal in structure yet exceptionally intricate in execution, the Cotopaxi Shawl transforms the body into a living sculptural landscape shaped through craftsmanship, erosion, and transformation.

Each piece is individually handcrafted within our private atelier. No two pieces are identical. Subtle variations in texture, contour, and leather finish are part of the identity of the garment, shaped by the human hand behind it.

Made-to-Order Production
Each Gelareh Designs piece is individually crafted upon order. Production timelines are separate from shipping and typically range between 2–4 weeks.

Shipping
We offer free worldwide shipping. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days once dispatched.
Please note that import duties and local taxes are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Exchanges
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, exchanges are not standard and are accepted only under specific conditions.

We work closely with each client to confirm sizing prior to production. For this reason, we cannot accept exchanges based on incorrect measurements provided at the time of order.

Exchange requests may be considered in the following cases:
* Verified sizing discrepancy despite confirmed measurements
* Manufacturing defects or damage

All requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the piece and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
