A sculptural expression of texture, movement, and transformed textile form.

The Bellatrix Gown is a composition of layered surface manipulation and fluid architectural contouring each element shaped and developed with intention to create a silhouette that feels both raw and refined. Balancing softness, structure, and dimensional movement, the piece carries a powerful presence where the material itself becomes part of the artistry.

At the core of the design lies an exceptionally intricate process of craftsmanship. The surface texture is created through an intensive hand-manipulation technique where layers of woven cotton are individually distressed, separated, cut, and reconstructed to form dimensional organic textures throughout the garment. The fabric is then treated with a waxed finish to preserve and hold the sculptural formations, allowing the material to maintain its depth, tension, and movement.

What appears effortless from a distance reveals an extensive process of transformation beneath the surface. The value of the piece lies not simply in the material itself, but in the countless hours of handwork required to reshape and evolve the textile into a living sculptural surface.

The cutout detailing introduces contrast and fluidity within the structure, revealing moments of softness and openness against the density of the textured formations. The silhouette contours naturally around the body while extending movement and elegance throughout the gown.

There is something instinctive in its presence. The piece carries a raw yet elevated energy where texture becomes architecture, and the body becomes enveloped within a flowing sculptural form.

The variations in texture, tone, distressing, and wax formation are part of the life of the garment, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care. Within our atelier, creation is approached with presence and devotion each garment made as a quiet ritual, where craft becomes a form of prayer.

This piece is made to order as part of our commitment to slow fashion, eliminating excess while preserving the integrity of the design.

THE ART OF VARIATION

Every piece is individually handcrafted and hand-finished, making each creation a unique expression of the process. Due to the artisanal nature of textile manipulation, waxing, and material treatment, color tones and surface textures may vary slightly.

The distressed and reconstructed formations within the cotton may carry subtle distinctions in depth, texture, and movement, reflecting the intensive handcraft behind each garment.

These variations are not imperfections, but part of the identity of the piece. Each creation carries its own presence, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care.

Each Gelareh Designs piece is individually crafted upon order. Production timelines are separate from shipping and typically range between 2–4 weeks.

Shipping
We offer free worldwide shipping. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days once dispatched.
Please note that import duties and local taxes are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Exchanges
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, exchanges are not standard and are accepted only under specific conditions.

We work closely with each client to confirm sizing prior to production. For this reason, we cannot accept exchanges based on incorrect measurements provided at the time of order.

Exchange requests may be considered in the following cases:
* Verified sizing discrepancy despite confirmed measurements
* Manufacturing defects or damage

All requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the piece and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
