Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.

Inspired by the raw power of volcanic landscapes, the Tephra Coat transforms the language of eruption into a sculptural wearable form. Part of the Eruption Collection, the piece embodies the moment where molten earth cools, fractures, and evolves into new terrain.

Texturized leather flows across the front and shoulders, echoing the surface of volcanic rock shaped by heat, pressure, and time. Hand-manipulated fabrics are individually formed and assembled to create an organic landscape of texture and depth, giving the garment a primal yet refined presence.

Custom-made stone elements are meticulously hand-applied throughout the coat, appearing as though they have emerged naturally from the surface itself. These sculptural forms create dimension, movement, and a sense of ancient geological power woven into the garment.

The silhouette balances structure with fluidity, while a double-headed zipper allows for versatile styling and transformation. Bold yet elegant, the Tephra Coat evokes the union between the human form and the dramatic beauty of the natural world.

Each Gelareh Designs piece is individually crafted upon order. Production timelines are separate from shipping and typically range between 2–4 weeks.

We offer free worldwide shipping. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days once dispatched.
All Gelareh Designs pieces are handcrafted in our atelier in Bali, Indonesia, and shipped worldwide.Please note that import duties and local taxes are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Exchanges
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, exchanges are not standard and are accepted only under specific conditions.

We work closely with each client to confirm sizing prior to production. For this reason, we cannot accept exchanges based on incorrect measurements provided at the time of order.

Exchange requests may be considered in the following cases:

For context, I’m a slim male who prefers fitted, feminine/androgynous silhouettes. This was part of my second order from Gelareh Designs, after being very happy with my first order, and it looks exactly like the photos.

The leather is soft, the raised detailing feels soft but sturdy, and the whole piece is clearly very high quality. The inside feels like a natural, high-quality fabric lining, so it is comfortable to wear for long periods rather than just being something that only looks good in photos.

The fit is excellent and really hugs the torso. It feels almost like a second skin, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Because this is such a close-fitting piece, I really appreciated that the team checked in for extra sizing information, including photos showing my chest and waist measurements, to help make sure the fit would work well. That kind of support makes a big difference when ordering made-to-order fitted pieces.

It also pairs perfectly with the matching Arctora Leggings, and I’m extremely happy with it.
