EDITOR’S NOTES

A sculptural extension of function, the Mason Access Pocket is designed as part of a modular three piece system created to move with the body while enhancing both presence and purpose.

This piece integrates seamlessly with the Mason Belt Pocket and Mason Leg Water Bag, forming a unified utility structure that wraps the body with intention and precision. Together, the three elements create a wearable system balancing storage, movement, and design as one cohesive form.

While it can be worn independently, the Access Pocket is conceived as a connected component of the full Mason configuration. When styled as a standalone piece, subtle structural adjustments are applied to ensure balance, fit, and comfort without the additional elements.

Crafted through a combination of leather and soft interior lining, and finished with custom metal hardware, this piece embodies a refined dialogue between utility and avant-garde expression—where every detail serves both function and form.

THE ART OF VARIATION

Each Mason Access Pocket is individually crafted and finished by hand.

Due to the artisanal dyeing and treatment of the leather, variations in tone, texture, and depth are natural and intentional. Blacks may range from deep matte to slightly reflective finishes. Metallic tones may shift from soft, muted hues to richer, more dimensional surfaces.

These subtle differences are not imperfections, but part of the living character of the piece—making each one unique.

COLOR & MATERIAL NOTES

Available in a range of finishes including classic black, metallic tones, and seasonal variations.

Each material behaves differently depending on the treatment:

  • Leather finishes may appear more structured or soft depending on tanning and waxing techniques

  • Metallic tones may evolve slightly over time, enhancing their depth and richness

  • Lining and interior textures are selected to balance durability with comfort against the body

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
