EDITOR’S NOTES

A sculptural mantle shaped through water, memory, and ancient resonance.

Part of the Lemurian collection, this piece was created through a personal transformation moving from fear of water into immersion within it. Through snorkeling and diving, a new world revealed itself: fluid, luminous, and alive with quiet intelligence.

The mantle carries this experience. It reflects the beauty of underwater forms soft movement, shifting light, and the presence of something both familiar and unknown. The shapes feel organic, almost as if they have formed naturally, echoing textures found beneath the surface.

It is also informed by the idea of Lemuria an ancient, intuitive civilization often associated with harmony, sensitivity, and a deep connection to nature and energy. Within this language, the piece holds a sense of calm awareness, as if carrying a memory rather than a story.

The surface is built through sculptural leather techniques folding, shaping, and layering each element by hand. The result is a dimensional texture that feels fluid yet grounded, intricate yet quiet.

There is a softness to its presence, but also depth. A subtle energy that feels intentional like something carried, rather than shown.

Each garment is developed through a meticulous, hands-on process within our private atelier. Individually crafted by skilled artisans trained under the direction of the designer, no two pieces are identical. Subtle variations are part of its identity, shaped by the human hand behind it.

This piece is made to order as part of our commitment to slow fashion, eliminating excess while preserving the integrity of the design.

THE ART OF VARIATION

Every piece is individually handcrafted and hand-dyed, making each garment a unique expression of the process. Due to the artisanal nature of dyeing and leather treatment, color tones may vary slightly. Shades of gold may shift from warmer to deeper metallic hues, and reds may range from vibrant to deeper, richer tones.

These variations are not imperfections, but part of the identity of the piece. Each garment carries its own presence, shaped by the human hand behind it.

Each Gelareh Designs piece is individually crafted upon order. Production timelines are separate from shipping and typically range between 2–4 weeks.


Shipping
We offer free worldwide shipping. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days once dispatched.
Please note that import duties and local taxes are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Exchanges
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, exchanges are not standard and are accepted only under specific conditions.

We work closely with each client to confirm sizing prior to production. For this reason, we cannot accept exchanges based on incorrect measurements provided at the time of order.

Exchange requests may be considered in the following cases:
* Verified sizing discrepancy despite confirmed measurements
* Manufacturing defects or damage

All requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the piece and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Bodysuit

Fitted — designed to sit close to the body.

Jacket

Tailored fit — designed to be worn over light layers.

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
