The Obsidian Shoulder Beaded piece is a wearable sculptural accessory designed to frame the body through layered texture, suspended movement, and intricate handcraft. Built as an extension of the Obsidian language, the piece carries a powerful architectural presence while maintaining fluidity and elegance within its form.

At the core of the design lies an exceptionally meticulous process of craftsmanship. Individually placed beads, layered formations, and directional structures are carefully assembled by hand to create dimensional movement across the shoulders and body. The surface shifts naturally with light and motion, creating an evolving visual rhythm throughout the piece.

There is something instinctive in its presence. The accessory carries a ceremonial, almost protective energy where adornment becomes architecture, and the body becomes framed through texture, movement, and sculptural detail.

The layered beading introduces softness and fluidity against the stronger structural form, creating a dynamic balance between delicacy and strength. Worn layered over garments or directly against the body, the piece creates a feeling of transformation, individuality, and elevated presence.

The variations in bead placement, texture, tone, and formation are part of the life of the garment, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care. Within our atelier, creation is approached with presence and devotion each garment made as a quiet ritual, where craft becomes a form of prayer.

Each Gelareh Designs piece is individually crafted upon order. Production timelines are separate from shipping and typically range between 2–4 weeks.


Shipping
We offer free worldwide shipping. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days once dispatched.
Please note that import duties and local taxes are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Exchanges
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, exchanges are not standard and are accepted only under specific conditions.

We work closely with each client to confirm sizing prior to production. For this reason, we cannot accept exchanges based on incorrect measurements provided at the time of order.

Exchange requests may be considered in the following cases:
* Verified sizing discrepancy despite confirmed measurements
* Manufacturing defects or damage

All requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the piece and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Bodysuit

Fitted — designed to sit close to the body.

Jacket

Tailored fit — designed to be worn over light layers.

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
