A sculptural expression of movement, tension, and suspended form.

The Oliya skirt is a deconstructed architectural silhouette built through layered bands and flowing suspended structures that move rhythmically around the body. The piece balances openness and structure simultaneously, creating a sculptural form that feels both fluid and engineered.

At the core of the design lies a refined process of construction where elongated vertical panels are individually positioned and interconnected through sculptural horizontal bindings, creating dimensional movement and negative space throughout the silhouette. The suspended formations shift naturally with motion, allowing the piece to transform continuously while worn.

There is something instinctive in its presence. The skirt carries a ceremonial, almost futuristic energy where structure becomes movement, and the body becomes framed through layered architectural rhythm.

The balance between exposed space and sculptural containment creates a dynamic tension revealing softness, strength, and fluidity simultaneously. Worn in motion, the elongated bands create a striking visual flow that extends the silhouette while maintaining lightness and movement within the form.

The piece feels both minimal and highly sculptural where simplicity becomes elevated through proportion, construction, and movement. It does not simply sit on the body it evolves with it.

Each piece is developed through a meticulous, hands-on process within our private atelier. No two are ever identical. The variations in structure, spacing, and movement are part of the life of the garment, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care. Within our atelier, creation is approached with presence and devotion each garment made as a quiet ritual, where craft becomes a form of prayer.

This piece is made to order as part of our commitment to slow fashion, eliminating excess while preserving the integrity of the design.

THE ART OF VARIATION

Every piece is individually handcrafted and hand-finished, making each garment a unique expression of the process. Due to the artisanal nature of textile construction and assembly, spacing, tension, and movement within the structure may vary slightly.

The suspended panel formations and sculptural bindings may carry subtle distinctions in contour, rhythm, and dimensional flow, reflecting the intensive handcraft behind each garment.

These variations are not imperfections, but part of the identity of the piece. Each garment carries its own presence, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care.

Each Gelareh Designs piece is individually crafted upon order. Production timelines are separate from shipping and typically range between 2–4 weeks.


Shipping
We offer free worldwide shipping. Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days once dispatched.
Please note that import duties and local taxes are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Exchanges
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, exchanges are not standard and are accepted only under specific conditions.

We work closely with each client to confirm sizing prior to production. For this reason, we cannot accept exchanges based on incorrect measurements provided at the time of order.

Exchange requests may be considered in the following cases:
* Verified sizing discrepancy despite confirmed measurements
* Manufacturing defects or damage

All requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the piece and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Bodysuit

Fitted — designed to sit close to the body.

Jacket

Tailored fit — designed to be worn over light layers.

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
