The Obsidian Shoulders are a wearable architectural extension designed to frame the body through flowing anatomical linework and sculptural structure. Inspired by the language of the Obsidian series, the piece carries a powerful ceremonial presence where the shoulders become transformed through layered form, movement, and dimensional detail.
At the core of the design lies an exceptionally intricate process of craftsmanship. Sculptural leather formations and precision-cut panels are individually shaped and assembled to contour naturally around the shoulders and upper body, creating a flowing structure that feels both protective and fluid. The directional lines move organically across the form like a living surface, balancing strength and softness within the silhouette.
There is something instinctive in its presence. The piece carries an almost otherworldly energy where adornment becomes armor, and the body becomes framed through sculptural architectural movement.
The layered construction creates dimensional rhythm and contour throughout the silhouette, emphasizing posture, shape, and presence while maintaining fluidity and wearability. Worn layered over garments or directly against the body, the piece creates a feeling of confidence, transformation, and elevated identity.

The variations in texture, tone, and panel formation are part of the life of the garment, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care. Within our atelier, creation is approached with presence and devotion each garment made as a quiet ritual, where craft becomes a form of prayer.
