The Obsidian Vest is a wearable architectural structure designed through flowing anatomical linework and intricate panel construction that contours the body with a second-skin fluidity. Inspired by the Obsidian series, the piece carries a powerful sculptural presence where structure flows organically across the form like a living surface.
At the core of the design lies an exceptionally meticulous process of craftsmanship. Individual leather panels are precisely cut, shaped, and assembled one by one through a highly detailed construction system that allows the lines to move seamlessly around the body with minimal visual interruption.
Each panel carries its own unique pattern in order to create the continuous wave-like formations flowing across the silhouette. The side seams are intentionally engineered to disappear into the structure itself, allowing the leather to wrap fluidly around the body without breaking the movement of the lines.
The sculptural paneling creates a feeling of anatomical movement and dimensional depth while maintaining flexibility and softness within the form. The balance between structure and fluidity gives the garment a second-skin quality where the leather appears to move organically with the body itself.
There is something instinctive in its presence. The piece carries a ceremonial, almost futuristic energy where structure becomes adornment, and the body becomes framed through sculptural architectural movement.
Minimal in silhouette yet exceptionally intricate in execution, the vest reveals its sophistication through precision, contour, and the extensive handcraft behind every individual panel.
