EDITOR’S NOTES

A ceremonial expression of transformation, grace, and encoded form.

The Manasic Kimono is a sculptural composition of transparency, leatherwork, and suspended structure a piece where softness and strength exist in delicate balance. Part of the Incarnate Code collection, the kimono carries an encoded language of transformation where the past is released, patterns are dissolved, and form becomes a pathway into evolution.

The body of the garment is constructed from sheer chiffon, creating an ethereal, weightless presence around the wearer. Floating beneath this softness is an intricate architectural system of leather, chainwork, and woven detailing carefully engineered to support and balance the weight of the sculptural elements suspended throughout the piece.

At the core of the design lies an exceptionally meticulous process of handcraft. The edges of the sleeves and neckline are adorned with custom metal rings, chains, woven rope detailing, and handmade tassels individually assembled and placed to create movement, rhythm, and dimensionality throughout the silhouette. The dramatic open sleeves drape with fluidity while maintaining structural integrity through the carefully engineered leather support system hidden within the design.

Hand-cut symbolic leather forms inspired by evolving universal codes are precisely stitched onto the transparent chiffon surface, creating a language of curves, symbols, and directional lines across the body. These markings reflect the philosophy of Incarnate Code decoding memory, releasing inherited patterns, and stepping consciously into transformation.

There is something deeply ceremonial in its presence. Worn in motion, the kimono creates a feeling of liberation, softness, and power where the body becomes enveloped within a living symbolic structure. The contrast between the transparency of the chiffon and the density of the chains and leatherwork creates a dynamic tension revealing fragility and strength simultaneously.

It does not simply rest on the body it moves, expands, and transforms with it.

Each piece is developed through a meticulous, hands-on process within our private atelier. No two are ever identical. The variations in texture, tone, chain placement, leather formation, and movement are part of the life of the garment, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care. Within our atelier, creation is approached with presence and devotion each garment made as a quiet ritual, where craft becomes a form of prayer.

This piece is made to order as part of our commitment to slow fashion, eliminating excess while preserving the integrity of the design.

THE ART OF VARIATION

Every piece is individually handcrafted and hand-finished, making each garment a unique expression of the process. Due to the artisanal nature of leather treatment, weaving, chain assembly, and textile manipulation, color tones and surface textures may vary slightly.

The placement of symbolic leather formations, woven elements, handmade tassels, and suspended chain details may carry subtle distinctions in density, placement, and movement, reflecting the intensive handcraft behind each garment.

These variations are not imperfections, but part of the identity of the piece. Each garment carries its own presence, shaped by human hands guided by intention and care.

Your piece will remain within the intended color story, with subtle differences in tone, depth, texture, and material finish.
