The obsidian hooded Jacket is a composition of fluid leather paneling and architectural form each element shaped and placed with intention to create uninterrupted movement across the body. Built as a shorter evolution of the Obsidian Coat, the piece carries the same immersive language of seamless linework and body-contouring structure within a more compact silhouette.
At the core of the design lies an exceptionally intricate process of handcraft. Individual goat leather panels are precisely cut and developed through their own unique patterns, allowing the lines to move continuously around the body without visible side seam interruption. Rather than relying on traditional jacket construction, the piece is built through interconnected leather formations that wrap, sculpt, and contour the silhouette with fluid precision.
The leather paneling is layered over a thick rayon lycra shell, creating flexibility and natural stretch within the structure. This construction allows the garment to mold closely to the body while maintaining softness, movement, and comfort creating a smooth, almost buttery sensation against the skin.
There is something instinctive in its presence. The jacket carries a powerful, almost liquid energy where structure dissolves into movement, and the body becomes enveloped in a living architectural surface.
The ultra-wide hood extends the silhouette with a protective and ceremonial quality, framing the body through exaggerated volume and flow. Worn fitted to the form, the piece creates a feeling of confidence, protection, and elevated presence. It does not simply sit on the body it becomes part of it.
Each piece is developed through a meticulous, hands-on process within our private atelier. No two are ever identical.
