Description

EDITOR’S NOTES

A sculptural expression of faith, protection, and sacred movement.

Esh represents the Source of Light the energy that moves through all living beings. Inspired by the draped elegance of traditional Indian saris, the Esh’s Cloak Shawl transforms the body into a flowing ceremonial silhouette balancing softness, texture, and spiritual symbolism.

This wearable art piece is meticulously handcrafted within our private atelier using hand-woven leather, manipulated cotton, custom metal elements, and intricate textile construction techniques. Every section of the piece is individually assembled to create dimensional movement, weight, and fluid architectural drape across the body.

Delicate Japanese Kanji hand-sewn in leather onto the surface translates to “Faith” a reminder of trust, surrender, and alignment with one’s path. The piece carries a quiet ceremonial presence where movement, sound, and texture become part of the experience of wearing it.

Custom metal rings surrounding the perimeter create subtle sound and movement as the garment shifts with the body, while the woven leather and string framing add sculptural weight and grounding to the silhouette.

Versatile in styling, the cloak may be worn draped forwards or backwards, transforming the composition depending on movement and intention. Optional hand-carved bone clips may also be added as ceremonial adornment.

Minimal yet deeply dimensional, the Esh’s Cloak Shawl exists as more than a garment it becomes a symbolic extension of presence, ritual, and light.

Each piece is individually handcrafted within our private atelier. No two pieces are identical. Subtle variations in weave, texture, and leather finish are part of the identity of the garment, shaped by the human hand behind it.

This piece is made to order as part of our commitment to slow fashion, eliminating excess while preserving the integrity of the design.

Visual Measurement Guide

Use these visual references to better understand where to place the measuring tape for waist, hip, inseam, and other key measurements.

How to Measure

Stand naturally with your arms at your sides. Use a soft measuring tape, keeping it straight, level, and snug — not too loose or tight.

Chest / Bust

Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest or bust, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually slightly above or below the belly button.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Shoulder

Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other.

Arm Length

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and elbow, down to the wrist.

Torso Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder down through the fullest part of the bust to the crotch area.

Rise

Measure from the inner thigh seam to the top of the waistband. This tells where the pant sits on your waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg or hem.

Outseam

Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem of the pants.
